We've been in the submitter's shoes enough times to know that simple is better. For each category, submitters will be asked for a description of the project, company or person along with supporting media files such as images, video links and materials that help tell the story. That's it. Easy as pie.
Company of the Year (For-Profit) Awards
These awards will be given to the companies with the highest overall point total in each segment. If your organization is creating breakthrough innovation and growth, then this is the category for you.
- Company of the Year (For-Profit) – Enterprise. For companies with more than 1000 employees
- Company of the Year (For-Profit) – Small- and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB). For companies with more than 100 employees
Non-Profit of the Year
This award will be given to the non-profit with the highest overall point total. We welcome organizations of any size!
Entrepreneur of the Year (Individual)
This award will be given to the member of the company’s or organization’s founding team. Companies eligible must have no more than $25 million (USD) revenue per year to participate in this category.
Startup of the Year
This award will be given to the company or organization that has demonstrated fast growth and successful market penetration in just one year. Companies must have up to $25 million (USD) revenue per year to participate in this category.
Woman of the Year
This award will be given to the woman who has shown exceptional leadership, innovation, and mentorship in the cleantech industry. All organizations are encouraged to participate.
Rising Star: Under 30 Award
This award will be given to a young professional who has shown exceptional leadership and desire to grow their career in the cleantech industry. All organizations are encouraged to participate.
Dealmaker of the Year
These awards will be given to an individual investor aligned with a venture fund, investment or private equity firms, that has created milestone deals for the industry. Feel free to nominate an investment partner or yourself. Either way, we want to hear from you on dealmakers that have made an impact in 2017.
Best Integrated Media Campaign
Did a campaign elevate your brand’s messages across multiple platforms? We want to see how your organization used different channels – traditional, digital, video – and how you expanded your reach to key audiences. Describe how your campaign was built from the ground up including business objectives, key challenges, platforms used and results!
Best Social Media Campaign
Did you use multiple social channels to support an integrated PR effort? We want to know how you combined best practices and top tools to drive engagement and metrics. Highlight your campaign plan and strategy, compelling content and outstanding results!
Best CSR Annual Report
We are looking for visually compelling design as well as content that demonstrates and organization’s true commitment to CSR from the C-suite to the staff. Entries should describe the research process, the information gather process, changes to the report over last calendar or Fiscal Year, and other relevant information that shows judges how the report is unique.
Best Public Affairs Campaign
We’re looking for the best campaign that focused on bringing attention to an issue in the cleantech community. Show us how your organization advocated for cleantech and influenced stakeholder opinions on the topic. Show us your strategy, outreach tactics, and results.
Investment Organization of the Year
These awards will be given to the investment organizations (venture fund, investment or private equity firms) that have created milestone deals for the industry. Feel free to nominate the full corporation or a specific team. Either way, we want to hear from you on dealmakers that have made a significant impact in 2017.
